Thank you Mr. Presidents! We had a nice long weekend to get a ton of work done. Stay tuned for pictures and lots of exciting things! One room is almost finished!, We bought a dragon, and he is very helpful...
We started this blog to post about cooking, and baking, and making things for our friends and our homes. Soon after we started the blog, though, we found ourselves in the process of buying an old fixer-upper house together. It all happened quickly. We may be crazy. We're two single women who've been living big-city lives for the past ten or so years - and now we are moving out to the country into a house that we've bought together? Um, yes, it does sound crazy, and yes, we are a little afraid that we are damning ourselves to spinsterhood in a town where we cant get even a good cup of coffee unless we make it ourselves, but, whatever. We're making a home, on our terms -- two girls going out there and making it happen for ourselves -- by ourselves. We're gonna be using thread, and butter, and spackle, and lots of paint, and we'll probably shed some tears and some sweat and maybe some blood and hopefully some pounds. This is where we'll be sharing our story; we think it's gonna be a good one.
